யானை, குதிரை, தேர், அஞ்சாத வல்லுனர்கள் போன்ற
அநேக உறுப்புக்களைக் கொண்டதாய், துன்பங்களுக்கு
அஞ்சாததாய், உள்ள வெற்றி தரும் படை, அரசனது
செல்வங்கள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் முதன்மையானது.
The best one among all wealth of king is:
Troops, fearless and vanquish.
The military forces of various parts like chariots, Elephants,
Cavalry and infantry who are undaunted to foes but overcome them;
is the chief of all the possessions possessed by monrchs.

தொட்டுவரும் அஞ்சாமையைக் காப்பாற்றுவதே
சிறந்தபடை.
It's only the force free from destruction,
Unsubdued for illusion and with wonted force.
It is only said to be the troop which is impossible
for the foes to destroy ; not subdued for them even for their
fraudulent and cunning ways and also having their inheritant
strength and experience in military force.
